Disney is allowing DVC owners at the new Bay Lake Tower resort watch the fireworks at night from the top of the building.  They’ve even piped in the music from the show there so you won’t miss anything by seeing it there.
I haven’t see the rooms in the new building yet, but I still say it’s not the contemporary unless the monorail runs through the building.  ;)
