A connoisseur's view of theme parks
Anheuser Busch theme parks sold
InBev sold the Anheuser Busch parks to the Blackstone group for up to 2.7 billion dollars.
This price is an absolute steal considering how much cedar fair paid for the Paramount parks a few short years ago. Granted, the economy hadn’t totally tanked back then, but the Former Anheuser Busch parks bring considerably more traffic than the paramount parks did. This does present an interesting opportunity for the A-B parks since Blackstone also owns half of Universal studios in Orlando.
My only hope is that they don’t let the parks get run down since Busch Gardens Tampa is probably my overall favorite theme park that I have visited.
